What it is

Your booking system, inside Claude.

Steward is the venue management software behind each house: the wedding venue CRM, the quotes, the calendar and the payments, with booking pages on your own domain.

Each house’s booking system now runs its own MCP server: a Claude connector that lets Claude look things up and get things done in it, with your permission. Ask a question and the answer comes from your real enquiries and bookings, not a guess. Ask for something done and Claude does it in the venue booking system, the same way you would from the dashboard.

Steward’s own team has a central connector across the houses we look after, under the same rules.

What you can ask

Six things a coordinator asks on a Monday.

Plain English, no special commands. Claude works out which records to read and what to change.

Reads

“What enquiries came in this week?”

Lists every new lead from the website, email and channels: event type, guest count, dates, source, and how long each one has been waiting for a reply. Oldest first.

Reads

“Who still owes a balance before Christmas?”

Pulls the bookings with money outstanding, with the amount, the due date and what has been paid so far. Overdue ones at the top.

Writes a draft

“Draft a quote for a 120-guest wedding on Saturday 14 June.”

Builds the quote from your own rate card, rooms and packages and saves it as a draft for you to check before anything is sent.

Writes

“Hold 12–14 June for Thursday's retreat enquiry.”

Checks the calendar for clashes, then puts a provisional hold on those dates against that lead, so nobody else books them while you talk.

Reads

“Which Saturdays next summer are still free?”

Reads the calendar across the whole estate and gives you the open weekends, with any provisional holds marked so you know what is soft.

Asks first

“Reply to the couple who asked about the marquee and offer a viewing next week.”

Drafts the reply from the enquiry and your calendar, then shows it to you. Nothing goes to the guest until you say send.

Setup

About two minutes, with the login you already have.

01

Add the connector

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the address we give you for your house. One address per house.

02

Sign in with your staff login

The same email and password you use for the Steward dashboard. No new account, no API keys to copy, nothing to install on the house computer.

03

Ask

Start a chat and ask about this week. It works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code (where adding it is one command). The whole thing takes about two minutes.

Safety

It works like a careful member of staff.

An AI booking assistant is only useful if you can trust what it touches. These are the rules, and they are on from the first sign-in.

01

Your login, your role

Claude signs in as you. It sees what your staff role can see and does what your role can do, nothing more. Turn off a staff login and Claude can no longer sign in with it.

02

It asks before it messages a guest

By default Claude drafts guest emails and texts and shows them to you first. You approve the send. That is the setting every house starts on.

03

Nothing moves money

Claude can tell you who owes what and what has been paid. It cannot charge a card, issue a refund or move money anywhere. Payments stay in your own Stripe account, where they always were.

04

Every action is logged

Each change made through Claude is recorded with who made it and when, so you can always see what was done, and by whom, on any booking.

Who it’s for

Small teams running big houses.

Ballinderry Park is run by two people, and most estates aren’t much bigger. The connector is for the hours between the enquiry and the reply.

  • Works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code
  • Your own house only, never another estate's records
  • Guest messages wait for your approval
  • No card charges, refunds or payouts through Claude

Why it matters

The venue that answers first usually gets the date. The connector turns “I’ll get to it tonight” into a two-line message to Claude.

Questions

Claude, MCP and your bookings.

Something not covered? Ask us.

What is an MCP server?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an AI assistant like Claude connect to other software. An MCP server is the piece on the software's side that says what the assistant may look up and do. Every Steward house's booking system has its own MCP server, so Claude can work with your enquiries, quotes, bookings, payments and calendar directly instead of you copying and pasting.
What are Claude connectors, and how do I use one?
Connectors are how Claude links to outside tools. To use Steward's, add a custom connector in Claude's settings with the address we give you for your house, sign in with your Steward staff login, and start asking. It takes about two minutes and works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code.
What data can Claude access through the Steward connector?
Only your own house's booking records: enquiries, quotes, bookings, payment status and the calendar, and only as far as your staff role allows. It can't see other houses on Steward, and it signs in as you, so it never has more access than you do.
Will Claude email or text my guests on its own?
No. Guest messaging is set to ask first. Claude drafts the message and shows it to you, and nothing is sent until you approve it.
Can Claude take payments or give refunds?
No. Claude can read balances and payment status so you know who owes what, but it can't charge a card, refund a payment or move money. Every change it does make is logged with who and when.
What is venue management software?
Venue management software is the system a venue runs its bookings on: enquiries and a CRM, quotes, the calendar, payments and the guest details for each event. Steward is venue management software built for country houses and estates that host weddings, retreats and group stays, with booking pages on your own domain. The Claude connector means you can run it by asking, not only by clicking.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
We build and support the connector for Claude. MCP is an open standard, so other assistants that support it may be able to connect, but Claude is the one we test against and the one we'll help you set up.

See it on your own house.

Book a walkthrough. We'll show you Claude working with a Steward booking system, ask it the questions you'd ask on a Monday, and show you exactly what it can and can't touch.
